I have been practicing the sport of bowling since I was 6 years old. Bowling is a sport that perteins to the group of sports that deals with art and precision, it is also mostly individual but when it comes to bowl in teams is really fun. I think this is what I like about it, bowling is a versatile sport that slowly has been getting in people's eyes. This sport has given me numerous experiences that made me become a better person, grow in a healthy competitive environment, feeling part of a team and a country and I will never forget that. I have met incredible people throughout this journey and believe me when you have the name of your country on your back you want to do whatever it takes to listen your country's national anthem for at least 2 minutes at a ceremony. Because of these and so much more things I am proud to say I am a bowler and I hope to one day see this beautiful sport in the Olympics.
College Bowling
I arrived to college in September of 2016, signing with the Savannah College of Art & Design bowling team. This experience was definetly one of the best of my bowling career since I got to bowl for four years for the school. I learned a lot about team work and feeling part of a family. I also learned to be independent and professional combining bowling and fashion at the same time, which was not easy. It was not easy to be in a country that was completely unknown for me, it was difficult to adapt my self to this new environment and being away from home but at the end of the day I can say it was worth it.
I am part of the first generation of bowlers that went to SCAD's bowling program and I just want to thank all the people that contributed to my career, the good and bad experiences made me grow up and now believe so much more in my self as a bowler and a fashion designer.
